DESCRIPTION: FULL VERSION: JMU TODAY was an extra-curricular program produced weekly out of the old Television Production Center. From 1987 - 1990 the program was viewed live on local cable and re-broadcast on 6 cable systems throughout Virginia including the major markets of Washington, D.C.; Richmond, Roanoke, and Virginia Beach.
This particular edition was produced by Cheryl Carson (now Senior Executive Producer, FOX-LA). It was directed by Chris Driggs and hosted by John Roberts, Tracey Neale (former anchor of WUSA-DC) and Rick Berry. JMU TODAY and special features won many national awards during this time period including:
